Witchcraft God Enforcer

Witchcraft God Enforcer

The God is the Enforcer of the Goddess’s Laws and the Goddess’s Consort

He is the sun and the seasons..

Being born, dying, and being reborn in a constant cycle. He is the Divine Child, the Goddess’s son who becomes her equal partner. He is the forest, the clear blue sky, and the soil beneath our feet.

The God has many forms. He takes on the many aspects, all which symbolize human emotion. These forms include the Lord of the Forest, the Father, the Healer, the Trickster, the Lord of Judgement, the Warrior, the Magician, the Saviour, and the Lord of the Underworld. As the Lord of the Forest, he is the guardian of all living things. As the Father he the nurturing caretaker. As the Healer, he brings health and prosperity back to Earth. As the Trickster, he is carefree and full of laughter. As the Lord of Judgement, he is the one who gives to people what they deserve (good or bad). As the Warrior, he is the Hero who fights for freedom and justice. As the Magician, he is the wise man who can help you discover great knowledge. As the Saviour, he has a large impact on the world and its inhabitants… giving them new hope. As the Lord of the Underworld, he is the escort into the next life.

The Charge of the God

Listen to the words of the Great Father, who of old was called Osiris, Adonis, Zeus, Thor, Pan, Cernunnos, Herne, Lugh, and by many other names:

“My Law is Harmony with all things. Mine is the secret that opens the gates of life and mine is the dish of salt of the earth that is the body of Cernunnos, that is the eternal circle of rebirth. I give the knowledge of life everlasting, and beyond death I give the promise of regeneration and renewal. I am the sacrifice, the father of all things, and my protection blankets the earth.”

Hear the words of the dancing God, the music of whose laughter stirs the winds, whose voice calls the seasons :

“I who am the Lord of the Hunt and the Power of the Light , Sun among the Clouds and Secret of the Flame, I call upon your bodies to arise and come unto me. For I am the flesh of the earth and all its beings. Through me all things must die and with me are reborn. Let my worship be in the body that sings, for behold all acts of willing sacrifice are my rituals. Let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing within you. For these too are a part of the mysteries found within yourself, within me, all beginnings have endings, and all endings have beginnings .”

The Charge of the Horned Godthe Horned God

Listen to the words of the Horned God , who is son , brother, lover, and consort of the Lady :

“I am the fleet deer in the forest, I am the beach which receives the waves, I am the sun which warms the earth. I am the Lord of the Spiral Dance of Life, Death and Rebirth, the Gentle Reaper, the Winter Stag and the Spring Fawn. All things are of me, for I am of the Goddess, opposite, yet not opposing. I bring forth from the womb that is a tomb, for i am the seed which fertilizes. I am abundant Life for I am the grain that grows, am I death – the harvest in the fall. And I am rebirth after darkness, for I am the seed that springs forth anew.”

“I am Fertility, the Spreader of life, and I am the Lord of Death, which adds value to life.”

“I am the Guardian of the Gate Between Life and Death. I am the King of the Underworld, where no living being may venture, but I am also the King of Rebirth, who makes of the tomb a womb.”

“I bring love and strength , peace and passion , hope and joy , for I am the Gentle Lover in the night .”

“I am the herald of all that comes from the Great Mother, the Divine Star Goddess, who is Mother of us all.”

The Charge of the Guardian Horned God

Listen to the words of the Horned God, the Guardian of All things Wild and Free, and Keeper of the Gates of Death who’s Call all must answer:

“I am the fire within your heart, the yearning of your Soul. I am the Hunter of Knowledge and the Seeker of the Holy Quest; I who stands in the darkness of light; I am He whom you have called Death . I the Consort and Mate of Her we adore, call forth to thee.”

“Heed my call beloved ones, come unto me and learn the secrets of death and peace . I am the corn at harvest and the fruit on the trees . I am He who leads you home . Scourge and Flame , Blade and Blood these are mine and gifts to thee .”

“Call unto me in the forest wild and on hilltop bare and seek me in the darkness bright . I who have been called Pan, Herne, Osiris, and Hades speak to thee in thy search . Come dance and sing ; come live and smile , for behold : this is my worship .”

“You are my children and I am your Father . On swift night wings it is I who lay you at our Mother’s feet to be reborn and to return again . Thou who thinks to seek me , know that I am the untamed wind , the fury of storm and passion in your Soul . Seek me with pride and humility , but seek me best with love and strength . For this is my path , and I love not the weak and fearful . Hear my call on long winter nights and we shall stand together guarding Her Earth as she sleeps .”

Charge of the Dark God

Listen to the words of the Dark God who was of old called Iakchos, Donn, Anubis, Hades, Setesh, Hoder and by many other names:

I am the shadow in the bright day, I am the reminder of mortality at the height of living.

I am the never-ending veil of Night where the Star Goddess dances.

I am the Death that must be so that Life may continue, for behold, Life is immortal because the living must die.

I am the strength that protects, that limits; I am the power that says No, and No Further, and That is enough.

I am the things that cannot be spoken of, and I am the laughter at the edge of Death.

Come with me into the warm enfolding dark; feel my caresses in the hands, in the mouth, in the body of one you love, and be transformed.

Gather in the moonless night and speak in unknown tongues; the Dark Mother and I will listen.

Sing to us and cry out, and the Power will be yours to wield.

Blow me a kiss when the sky is dark and I will smile, but no kiss returns; for my kiss is the final one for all mortal flesh.

Learning Witchcraft

Witchcraft has long been considered as the religion of nature itself

The very first, primary step that anyone who is interested in learning witchcraft should begin with the religion itself. This will help you understand the complete process and the various beliefs that are involved in the practice of this religious belief.

When learning beginner witchcraft by yourself, you will also need to completely understand and also examine the magic that is involved.

Exploring the magic in detail in the very early stages of learning involves the knowledge of the four essential aspects. Primarily, this includes the casting of circles. The next step is the invoking of gods and goddesses. Then comes raising the energies to your own advantage.
And finally, step where the circle has to be closed.

The basics of beginners Witchcraft can be learned easily be anyone who has a dedicated interest in finding spirituality that is nature based, study of magic and also its applications, and also by people who desire to practice these magical skills until they gain mastery of the skill.

Witchcraft requires complete dedication and commitment from your part, and there are some ways in which you can increase these within yourself.
Visualization and meditation exercises are a great way of increasing your focus and attentive power. There are some exercises that specifically help you in doing so.
Learning of witchcraft also requires the knowledge on how to gain strength from the heavenly bodies such as sun, moon and stars and put them to your benefit.
People practicing witchcraft also believe that the energy gained from these natural sources can help keep you calm when you are hearing the voice of god or goddesses.

Once you ready to try practicing at a beginner level, you will need to create a basic spell.

This can be done by your own moon ritual that you practice.
This means that you do not need to follow each word that you might have read in the books that help you learn the art of witchcraft.
You can either join a coven or just continue to practice at home, all on your own. However, experts recommend that you first spend at least a year studying the subject before you think of joining a coven. This will help you when you observe a full cycle of sabbats. Another important,
and also the most essential thing that you must always remember is that the ethical aspect of the complete art of witchcraft is not to harm anyone else in the process or after you have mastered the skill.

Covens can be joined usually after you receive an invitation. The rituals involved in each coven may be different from every other, and in most of the times, they are kept a secret. Only the members know what is to happen and who is to be a part of it.

Reading is often the most important part in any subject. The same rule is followed here as well.
There are a number of resource books and articles that can be found on the internet.
This will also give you an idea about the numerous spells, their meanings and also their uses.

      Gray Wizard

Learning Witchcraft The way of the Gray Wizard is a way of balance and unity. It is a belief in the unity of all and the necessity of the balance of all energies and forces.
It is about personal responsibility, honour, perseverance, growth, knowledge, discipline, and determination. The way of the Gray Wizard is not simply a belief; it is a way of life.
The Gray Wizard denies the imbalance and disunity of such concepts as white witchcraft, black witchcraft, and all other partisan Crafts, practices, or belief systems. To the Gray Wizard all are one and one is found in all. Even the Gray Wizard’s system of deity declares not a God and Goddess at its highest reverence, but instead the God/dess.
Our way is that of the unity of the entire tribe or clan as one family unit, and we seek to call the world our family.
The only one way of which we choose is the way of total balance and unity. This balance is found in our spiritual lives, political lives, social lives, family lives, career lives, sexual lives, and in all forms within our lives. We uphold such concepts of balance as equality, bisexuality, polyamory, environmental harmony, personal responsibility, and the practice of moderation with great fervour.
May the path of the Gray Wizard weigh heavy on the hearts of many?

Making your own Incense

making your own incense

Please take care when making your own Incense

Incense, representing the element of air in most rituals, is quite easy to make. In making incense you will need to measure some liquids by the dram.

Conversion Chart:

* 1/8 fluid ounce = 1 dram = 1/2 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon.
* 1/4 fluid ounce = 2 drams = 1 and 1/4 teaspoons or 1/2 tablespoon.
* 1/2 fluid ounce = 4 drams =1 tablespoon.
* 3/4 fluid ounce = 6 drams = 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 tablespoon.
* 1 fluid ounce = 8 drams = 2 tablespoons.

The following recipes are all for granular incense, the type one burns on a round of charcoal.

DO NOT USE CHARCOAL BRIQUETS! They give off poisonous fumes when burned indoors.

To make the incense, first powder all your solid ingredients and mix them well in your mortar and pestle. In a separate container, mix all of the liquid ingredients. Dissolve the saltpetre in the liquids.
*Slowly* add the liquids to your powdered mixture. Spread in a small tin pan or plastic container that you do not plan to use for food any longer and allow to dry.

The drying time varies but usually takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
When dry, simply crumble up your incense. It is now ready to burn. Several of the following recipes call for Tincture of Benzoin. To make your own powder 2 ounces of benzoin gum and add 4 ounces of water and 12 ounces of alcohol. Keep this mixture bottled and capped tightly for two weeks but do shake it daily. After two weeks, strain the liquid and bottle it for future use.

We are not responsible for any adverse reactions to any incense displayed on this website proceed at your own risk.

The celebration of Samhain now known as Halloween occurs during the Reed Moon. To the Celts this month hailed the end of the year, a time to cull the livestock and to connect with the ancestors. All around the world festivals that honour the dead are celebrated. During the Reed Moon, light a candle for loved ones who have died and you may receive a message from the spirit world.

The Reed Moon is a good time to use divination to gain insights into the year that has passed. Perform spells that will release old energy and burn symbols of illness and negativity in your bonfire on Halloween. Remember the Celtic year does not begin until the Winter Solstice, so use this interval to dream, not to make plans for the future.

The Haunting Sound Of Reed

In the past, the reed was used to make swift-flying arrow shafts that slew both enemies and game. In this way the plant was linked to the season of death and sacrifice, in which trees shed their leaves and the energy of nature, became more introspective. Many early musical instruments also used the reed to create a haunting sound that has been connected to rites for the dead and the summoning of spirits.

Wind Instruments

Modern-day wind instruments have developed from the same principle used by original reed instruments, whereby a current of air is vibrated to produce a melodic sound. Other traditional uses for reed include thatching. Rooftops were thatched with reeds, and as the Celts withdrew into their homes for the winter they honoured the plant that gave them shelter, making the reed a symbol of royalty and protection.

Ancestor Spirit Altar

Use this ancestral ritual to connect with your ancestors and other loved ones who have crossed to the spirit world. You will need:

Ancestral images.

Three white candles.

Flowers.

First place the ancestral images on a table, with the flowers and candles. Light each candle in turn and offer a prayer in turn and offer a prayer after each in the following order:

Candle One –

“I honour the Ancestors of my blood.”

Candle Two –

“I honor the Ancestors of my heart.”

Candle Three –

“I honour the Ancestors of my tradition.”

Meditate, letting images peacefully drift through your mind, and ask for a sign that your loved ones are still with you in spirit.

Protection Charm

Use this reed charm to protect yourself from negativity. You will need:

Freshly cut reed.

A black ribbon.

1) Visualize yourself within a circle of white light.

2) Tie a knot in a freshly cut reed, as it will be more flexible, and then say: “Royal reed, plant of my protection, keep me safe until the new year.”

3) Suspend the knotted reed from the ceiling using the black ribbon.

4) At Christmas or Yule, take it down and burn it.

Samhain Reed Spell

If you need help in letting go of something from your past, use a little reed magic at Samhain (October 31st). You will need:

Knife.

Pen.

Sea salt.

Matches.

Fireproof dish.

1) Go to a spot along the river bank where reeds grow tall and strong.

2) Sprinkle sea salt on the surface of the water and say, “River of birth, river of death, I honour you. Please accept this offering.”

3) Now choose a reed, cut it, and carefully draw a symbol, or write a word, to represent what you wish to release on the reed.

4) Light the reed in the fireproof dish and, as it burns, visualize the old energy being transformed into light and disappearing.

5) Once the reed has burned away, pour the ashes into the water and walk away, feeling fully cleansed of the past.

Traditional Magic

Try bringing some reed magic into your life with these traditional rituals.

Leap over a small bonfire to leave behind the old year.

Eat an apple on Samhain at midnight to dream of your spirit guide.

Carve out a turnip or pumpkin as a lantern of protection.

Bury an apple at a crossroads as an offering to the spirits of the dead.

Use the runes for divination or to gain insight into your current situation.

Imbolc Information author unknown but really good information

LORE

Imbolc, also known as Candlemas, comes six weeks after Yule and six weeks before the spring Equinox. At this time,

Witches honour the Celtic Triple Goddess Brid (pronounced Breed) in her maiden aspect. Brid or Brigid is goddess of fire, inspiration, healing, craftsmanship, and midwifery. She is patroness of the hearth, poets, smiths, craftspeople, healers, and priests.

Imbolc is the winter Festival of Lights. It is the quickening of the year, the first fetal stirrings of Spring in the womb of Mother Earth. Spring lies within sight and the seed is prepared for sowing. It is a fire festival, but emphasis is put on light rather than heat — light as it begins to pierce the gloom of winter.

HERBS

The herbs of Imbolc play both a practical and spiritual role, in some cases fortifying your strength and endurance, and in others making you feel good about your emotionally and spiritually. (Laurie Cabot from Celebrate the Earth).

Imbolc’s symbolic tree is the ash tree. Herbs of the season are:

Heather, dried sage, celandine, lemon, honey, dried chamomile, coriander seeds, garlic, rose hips, ash leaf or wood, witch hazel or hazel leaves, sunflower seeds, dried sunflower petals, vervain, violets, wheat, corn, grains, myrrh, storax, balsams, dragon’s blood, benzoin, mastic.

OILS

Carnation, vanilla, vanilla musk.

MAGICKAL STONES

Clear quartz, citrine, yellow tourmaline, green tourmaline, rose quartz, hematite, lodestone, ruby, garnet, red zircon, pearls.

ALTAR

Candles: white, sometimes red.

Incense: Chamomile, myrrh, heather. Also benzoin, vanilla, dragon’s blood, carnation.

Decorate the altar with white flowers. Have a white votive candle within the cauldron. Lay your besom upon the altar.

DIVINITIES

Brigid in her maiden aspect.

The Three-Fold Fire of Brighid:

Fire in the forge that shapes and tempers.
Fire in the cauldron that nourishes and heals.
Fire in the head that incites and inspires.

SPELLS

At Imbolg, witches cast for fertility and protection in their lives. Imbolg is a good time to get your life in order, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Make a Candle Wheel

Create a sun wheel or Brigid’s Cross for each room in the house. Burn the old ones.

Hang a scarf outside on the eve of Imbolc and Brigid will bless it with healing powers.

Place three ears of corn on the door as symbol of the Triple Goddess and leave until Ostara.

Imbolc is a traditional time for Witches’ dedications, rededications, and initiations.

Cleanse your sacred space and altar tools with a simple Imbolg besom rite.

For a simple Imbolc observance, light a white candle and burn sandalwood.

Cleanse the area where you do card readings or scrying with a censer, burning rosemary or vervain, and say:

By the power of this smoke, I wash away the negative influences that this place be cleansed for the Lady and her babe.

Make dream pillows for everyone in the family.

On Imbolc Eve, it is customary to leave food and drink out for Brigid — buttered bread, milk, grains, or seeds. Also leave buttered bread in a bowl indoors for the faeries that travel with the Lady of the Greenwood. Next day, dispose of it outside as the “essence” has been removed.

Let this be the traditional time that you make candles for the coming year, infusing them with colour, power, herbs, and scent depending on the magickal purpose. Bless candles that you will be using for rituals throughout the year.

Imbolc is the traditional time to collect stones for new magick circles and general magickal use.

FOOD

Traditional foods are from dairy products and spiced with onion, leek, garlic, shallot, and/or olives. The wine may be spiced and the food may contain raisins. Bread puddings and creamy soups are typical.

Faery Wine.
Swedish Waffles.
Creamy Salmon Soup.
Asparagus Spears with Herb White Sauce.
Magickal Cream Puffs.

FAERY WINE

1-1/2 cups milk per serving.
1 tsp. honey.
1/4 tsp.vanilla extract.
Cinnamon.

Warm milk, being careful not to boil. In each glass or mug, add honey and vanilla. Sprinkle tops with cinnamon.

SWEDISH WAFFLES
(serves four).

1 tsp. granulated sugar.
1 cup evaporated milk or cream.
3 eggs.
1/4 cup melted butter.
1-1/2+ cup flour.
2 tsp. baking powder.
1/4 tsp. salt.

Prepare and preheat waffle iron. Mix all ingredients until mixture takes on a slightly puffy appearance. Pour the batter into a hot waffle iron and bake until done (about 3 minutes). In Sweden, it is traditional to use preserves or honey to top the waffles. Butter and/or whipped cream are suitable dairy toppings for the season.

WISE AND CREAMY SALMON SOUP

The salmon is the wisest and most ancient of living creatures. Brid is guardian of all knowledge and keeper of all memory, so this soup seems appropriate.

1 pkg. cream cheese, cut into cubes.
1 cup milk.
2 tsp. Dijon mustard (to bring wealth).
1-1/2 tsp. chopped fresh dill or 1/2 tsp. dried dill (for protection of home and job).
2 green onions with tops sliced (for purity).
1 can chicken broth.
12 oz. smoked salmon, flaked, or 1 can, drained and flaked.

Heat cream cheese, milk, mustard, dill, onions, and chicken broth in a saucepan over medium heat until cheese is melted and smooth. Stir in salmon and heat until hot and ready to serve.
